Aldo de Nigris was a Mexican professional soccer player who was born on July 22, 1983, in Monterrey, Mexico. He played as a forward and was known for his physical and aerial presence on the field.
De Nigris began his professional career with Monterrey in 2003 and had successful stints with various clubs in Mexico, including Tigres UANL and Chivas Guadalajara. He also had a brief spell playing in Europe with Greek club Anorthosis Famagusta.
De Nigris represented the Mexican national team, earning 16 caps and scoring 3 goals. He was part of the team that won the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009.
Tragically, Aldo de Nigris passed away on November 30, 2019, at the age of 33 due to a heart attack. His premature death was mourned by the soccer community in Mexico and beyond, as he was remembered as a talented and respected player.
